Welcome to The FinanceFlick! Today’s piece is inspired by my recent trip to Amsterdam — a blend of work, art, and a few indulgences. I explored museums, indulged in too many stroopwafels, and enjoyed amazing food at De Kas (yes, twice!). I caught up with friends across Europe, but what truly energized me? The networking. Meeting inspiring people like Léonie Kennepol, Co-founder of Female x Finance, reignited my passion for this topic.

Globalization and Networking for Women: Why It Matters

Let’s face it — business is still very much a boys’ club. Even though more women are stepping into finance and business roles, we’re often still in the minority, especially in the top echelons. So, what’s the move? It’s initiatives like Female x Finance that provide us with the confidence, visibility, and extra support we need to claim our space. These aren’t just your typical social groups — they’re launch pads for growth, skill-building, and, most importantly, for proving that women are here to stay.

But here’s the kicker: to really thrive in these spaces, we have to build our networks and our confidence — both locally and globally. That’s why I’m a huge believer in using travel as a way to connect. It’s not just about seeing new places; it’s about expanding…
