Since I was a kid, my parents always emphasized the power and joy behind traveling. They believed, and rightly so, that immersing oneself in new cultures isn’t just about collecting stamps on a passport — it’s about keeping an open mind and adopting new ways of thinking. And lucky for me, I got to live that philosophy early on.
I was that kid who eagerly signed up for every school trip abroad. From the classic Elementary School graduation trip to Disneyland (a rite of passage, really) to more challenging adventures like an Entrepreneurship Challenge in London during my sophomore year — basically a Shark Tank for teens. And let’s not forget the time I flew to New York for a History of Art course during my senior year.
